Overview
The general format is based on the popular "300 Workout." We have arranged six stations focusing on core movements and various muscle groups. At each station, the goal is to perform 50 reps of one (or more) of the suggested exercises. Each station will strengthen a different part of the body, while the overall pace of the circuit will help build cardiovascular endurance. We also have tried to build a great deal of flexibility into the workout so that it can be customized to meet a variety of fitness goals. A basic outline of the workout can be viewed by clicking on the “Workout” icon in the column to the right.

After IRON - As iron sharpens iron... Proverbs 27:17
Following the IRON workout on Thursday nights, we have set aside a time for building new friendships, encouragement, and prayer. On Tuesdays, IRON is followed immediately by a JuJitsu class in conjunction with Southwest Center for the Martial Arts at 7:15. For more information on JuJitsu click here.
Setting Goals
If you are interested in goal setting and tracking your progress, we have created an online group for the Chaparral Wellness Forum on the Daily Burn. The Daily Burn is an independent service and not required for participation. the Daily Burn is only a suggested aid for tracking your workout progress and daily nutrition intake. If you decide to investigate the Daily Burn and decide to create a free account, you can add yourself to the "Chaparral" group by searching for “Chaparral” under the “Motivation” tab. Also, you can find our Iron workouts by searching for "Chaparral" under the "Find Workout Program" menu option under the "Workout" tab.
